STATS 208 : Introduction to Bootstrap
Spring 2006


An introduction to the Bootstrap. This course balances the theory and the computational skills for the bootstrap. Techniques for obtaining estimates of parameters and evaluating their performance for a veriaty of applications is discussed. The course assumes familiarity with basic probability theory and elementary statistics.
